Greenstage is proud to be supporting the
University of Canterbury Motorsport team with their first full electric entry in the
Formula SAE competition. They have put together a beast of a car which is looking likely to do the business!

| UCM's 2016 Formula SAE entry |
Earlier in the year Greenstage provided advice on battery pack building and the UCM team paid a few visits to make use of our Myachi Unitech battery welder (which we use for nickle or copper foil welding during pack building with 18650 or 26650 cells).
The engineering skills and quick iterations and improvements in the UCM pack designs were impressive.

It's pleasing to see these skills and capabilities being fostered by
University of Canterbury. I would strongly recommend any budding Engineering student to get involved in a Formula SAE team if they get the chance (especially if it's electric).
Good luck to the UCM team as they head into the
competition phase!

Great info! I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have. http://www.isoenergy.co.uk/electric-car-charging-points
What a great example of how engineering education, teamwork, and hands-on innovation can come together to create something impressive. The University of Canterbury Motorsport project also highlights how forward-thinking design can shape the future of sustainable development. In a different field, sustainable and well-planned property development is also becoming increasingly important, as seen in property opportunities in northern Iran.
The engineering work behind an electric race car is impressive, especially when teams focus on practical improvements and efficient design. It also reminds me how thoughtful engineering can improve everyday properties, from better insulation to home comfort solutions. For homeowners, energy-saving upgrades can make a noticeable difference in both comfort and efficiency.
The engineering and design work behind this electric racing project is impressive. It also shows how careful planning, testing, and attention to detail can make a big difference in any construction project. The same principles are valuable when planning a new property, from choosing the right design to managing the property building process and creating a space that will be practical for future owners.
It’s impressive to see how engineering teams combine careful design, testing, and rapid iteration to improve the performance of an electric race car. That same focus on precision is important in healthcare, particularly when selecting dependable respiratory medical equipment for safe and effective respiratory support.
It’s exciting to see university engineering teams pushing the boundaries of electric motorsport through innovative battery technology and continuous design improvements. Projects like the Formula SAE electric car demonstrate how practical experience, teamwork, and technical knowledge can drive progress in sustainable transportation. Sharing educational content and automotive technology videos can also help enthusiasts learn more about electric vehicles, engineering, and emerging innovations in motorsport.
